Trina, Design Team Coodinator

I have been scrapbooking since the year 2000 and before that I was an avid card maker and stamper.  When I first met Nicole, founder of Scrapbookers Club House, I was a patterned paper and embellishment virgin. I only knew about cardstock, embossing and stickers. My eyes were opened and in the time I have been around the Clubhouse my abilities have expanded by light years!  I have learned tons of techniques that I love to use on my projects from the Design Team and the members here at the Clubhouse.

My favorite products are inks, patterned paper, flowers and sparkle, but my favorite layouts are still the simplest ones that come from the heart. My husband, son and three cats give me an endless source of scrappable material. We live on an acreage in Northern Alberta where we enjoy the clean air and beautiful surroundings daily. I am proud to be a part of Scrapbookers Club House.

Noella, Blog Coordinator,

Hi, I am Noella, I live in Riverview, New Brunswick, Canada. I’ve been married to Mike for 9 years and we have a son, Christian, who is 6 years old.

The creative bug struck me as a young girl making crafts.  I’ve tole painted, crocheted, and cross stitched, but these hobbies where short lived.  Seven years ago I discovered scrapbooking, and it has held strong for me.

The past two years have been the most inspiring for me as a Scrapbooker, I have met the most awesome women in the scrapbooking industry and they have inspired me to find my own style in whatever I create. I also meet every week with a great group of friends I call my “Scrappin’ Sisters.” More challenge and wonderful inspiration!

As I learn new techniques, my scrapbooking style changes. I often use multiple patterned papers, and I love embellishments.  A relatively new creative passion for me is designing sketches for layouts.  My sketches are often used for contests at Scrapbooker’s Club House! You can find them on our BLOG.

I did my very first Design Team “gig” here at SBCH. I am very excited to be here now as a member of the Administrative Team. Fulfilling the role of Design Team Coordinator allows me to maintain a high degree of involvement in the creativity taking place at SBCH. What a treat!

The talented Design Team here at the Club House will challenge and inspire you. I  know you will inspire us, too, with the work you’ll share! Go for it!  Hope to be seeing you around the Forum and your work in the gallery!

Ali, PR and Promotions Director,

Hi!! I’m Ali, from the Annapolis Valley in NS. I'm an RN, freelance writer and Mom to 4 kiddos (14, 12, 7 & 5). Pete is the amazing "tag-team partner" with whom I travel life's journey. Cherishing my family, treasuring quiet creative time, I only scrapbook after the littlest ones are asleep. In the mornings, I often hear  “Mom, show us what you scrapbooked last night!"  I can’t resist sharing!

When I started memory-keeping, I intended to document baptisms, birthdays and family events. Then I discovered that I could write stories on my scrapbook pages! My goals changed…I began the adventure of scrapping LIFE’S MOMENTS.

I combine my passion for writing with an addiction to patterned paper and cardstock. I love that I can tell funny stories about our son, 'Dan-Dan Houdini-Man' and make them accessible, to be enjoyed as often as a scrapbook is opened; being able to create layouts featuring Bryan and his light sabre duels in the backyard; telling about the outfit for Kate's first semi-formal dance; and making mini-albums featuring Noah's sweet face… using “the memorable moments” to thank all his helpers. I love that we have layouts of all six of us in red t-shirts, showing support for our troops. And, although it’s challenging, I'm very thankful to be able to design and journal pages about life’s “toughies:” a chronic health issue, losing a pet, and accepting that life isn’t always ‘perfect.’

I enjoy inking and stitching on my layouts. Button-collecting is a passion: I love to design and add button clusters to my work. I’m drawn to texture and colourful patterns. I’m a learning junkie, so it’s not uncommon to find me soaking up new information from a friend or a class on the Forum! SBCH is a “happening” place to learn and grow as a scrapper. You’ll find a hearty welcome and many challenges to spark your creativity~ I feel so honoured to be a member of the Scrapbooker’s Club House Team!

Nicole,

I’ve always loved creative endeavours.  As a child, this took the form of drawing and immersing myself in music.  As an adult, it grew into a love of scrapbooking that led me to this company.  My husband and two children are most often the subjects of my layouts but I am branching out into altered art as well.  I can’t imagine having another passion that would allow me to express myself as completely.  Scrapbooking has also allowed me to dabble in photography, an interest that my husband of 12 years shares as well.  It is our hope that you will become a part of this vibrant section of the “webiverse” that we have created and leave inspired.
